The level of quality and competence of medical laboratories has been increased in Kyzylorda and Akmola regions

The Kyzylorda Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and the State Public Enterprise at the Akmola Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS under the Akmola Regional Health Administration successfully completed training on the new standard, which sets requirements for the quality and competence of medical laboratories.

This standard has a wide scope and is intended for the development of quality management systems and the assessment of the own competence of medical laboratories. The use of this standard allows us to confirm and recognize the competence of medical laboratories not only by laboratory users, but also by authorized government bodies and accreditation bodies.

An important component in improving the quality of services is conducting point-of-care research (POCT). This standard also applies to such studies, which allows for a more accurate assessment of the quality of laboratories and their compliance with established requirements.

Completing training according to the new standard is an important point in the development and improvement of the level of medical laboratories in the Kyzylorda and Akmola regions. This allows us to guarantee a high level of quality of services provided and the competence of specialists, which is an important factor in ensuring public health.
